Won a month later in a Fairyhouse 2m maiden hurdle by 10 lengths. Followed up by 15 lengths a month later at Punchestown in a 2m 3Year Old Only Hurdle race – Interesting

  • Slate House - Sire - Presenting - Dam - Bay Pearl - 5YO Gelding

Finished 5th on Point to Point debut in March 2016, but won on second PTP start in November 2016 over 3m by 10 lengths, now with Colin Tizzard. Has won both hurdle starts, both at Cheltenham. Beating Dans Le Vent in October(2m) before landing The Grade 2 SUPREME Novice Trial(2m) in November y 3/4’s of a length – Prospect

  • Apple’s Shakira - Sire - Saddler Maker - Dam - Apple’s For Ever - 3YO Filly

Won on Hurdles debut in France(2m) by 8 & 1/2 lengths before being purchased by JP McManus and sent to Nicky Henderson. She is related to Apple’s Jade(Gordon Elliott). Made UK debut a winning one, by 17 lengths at Cheltenham in the Grade 2 TRIUMPH hurdle Trial - Could be Special

  • Who’s My Jockey - Sire - Yeats - Dam - Scandisk - 4YO Gelding

Winner on NH Flat debut over 2m at Market Rasen by a head in April 2017. Finished 3rd on Hurdle debut to PALMERS HILL at Uttoxeter in a 2m Maiden in October. Went back to Uttoxeter a month later, winning a 2m Novice Hurdle by 6 lengths. Phillip Hobbs Trained. - One to keep onside

Won a 3m Point to Point in January 2017 before being purchased and sent to Nicky Henderson. Made hurdle debut at Aintree, in a 2m 4f maiden hurdle, winning by 3/4’s of a length in October before taking the Grade 2 Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham (2m 5f) by 2 & 1/2 lengths - The People’s Choice

An honourable mention goes to Poll runner up - White Moon - Sire - Sholokhov - Dam - Westalin(Germany) who won both hurdle starts by 6 lengths, trained by Colin Tizzard and looks like very much one to keep an eye on!

There is ONE Chaser I have been keeping an eye on for a while -

  • Monalee - Sire - Milan - Dam - Tempest Belle

Winner of two Hurdle race last season including a Grade 3 at Clonmel. Finished the season at Punchestown, when finishing 4th of 8 to Champagne Classic in a Grade 1 Hurdle. Made Chase debut at Punchestown in a Beginners Chase over 2m 4f, winning by 6 lengths from Any Second Now, that race has already yielded a winner. Trained by Henry De Bromhead - Top Prospect
