Northern Ireland trainer Brian Hamilton has given us an upbeat update on his stable-star Jimmy Two Times

The son of Shantou ran well above expectations when finishing 3rd place a few weeks ago at Downpatrick racecourse – he came into that race with plenty to prove to connections although it was a run which presented serious promise for the summer months ahead – all being well.

Hamilton insisted; He is coming back to himself, finally. With no racing on at the minute, he is on a forced break though if the Galway races is on that will be his big target, Also, the likes of Ballinrobe, Sligo, and Roscommon during the summer months he will entered every so often – ‘Jimmy’ has plenty left to offer he has been showing us plenty at home”.

It was well-known this son of Shantou has plenty of kinks -

Particularly his inclination to jump right even at left-handed tracks; so, his handler, has been in a something of a predicament targeting him for races on at right-handed tracks exclusively.

Now 11-year-old, Jimmy Two Times is not open to much more progression, although to his credit he is very lightly raced, and all he does is gallop when getting a lead - he is hard too pass.

His consistent form lines say it all 00-05221F-321537-0913623-5201P-7-3 seldom is he out of the frame. Watch this space Jimmy Two Times will be strutting his stuff at a right-handed racecourse close to you this summer.
