We recently caught up with one of the fast growing FREE twitter tipster brands  @BeatsWorkinTips To find out how they started and what makes they different from the rest of the tipsters out there.

How did you get into horse racing?

As a young child I used to watch the grand national with my grandad, galloping along in sync with the horses on the armchair mesmerised by the fluorescent colours and the excitement of the race and the excitement of gambling. As life evolves and I grew older that excitement didn’t stop, I started going to the greyhound races and gradually became friends with connections across the courses by attending meetings regularly and sharing the same passion in racing. Around that time, I also started purchasing greyhounds and truly became a part of the racing action. We had some right touches at Hull we used to travel all over the region to get bets on at hull and for the bookies to accept our bets. These dogs were basically over the line before the bets were placed but all good things come to an end and when hull closed information came to brough park for a year or two, i then became an on-course bookmaker, however after 3 years I found myself punting rather than laying horses - more exciting and more profitable. I’ve also owned and had shares in numerous horse over the years with varying degrees of success but that’s horse racing for you.

What is your most memorable bet and why? 

I like gambling in numerous forms, a favourite of mine being poker, something which challenges gambling, planning and skill. The art of betting through poker is about playing the cards your dealt and playing this well, in a poker tournament i Won a share in a race horse called ‘Laddies Poker Two’. Winner of 3 of its 5 races culminating in success in the 2010 Wokingham it has since gone on to have a very successful career at stud. Most notably being the dam to Winter (four-time group one winner and double guineas champion). Most of my biggest punts have been on greyhound racing however I struggle getting bets on dogs in bookies across Lancashire due to excessive wins in the past with lots of 4 figure wins - I’ve never really won a massive amount as I don’t usually do multiple bets, never been a get rich quick kind of guy, however I earn a great living and beat the bookies often.

What makes you different than the rest of the tipsters? 

We are not picking our horses ourselves, we are gathering information from people in the industry. The horses we advise come from tipsters who have inside info rather than us picking them from personal preference. It is a solid assumption that our selection is the most capable with info coming from owners/trainers or people with close ties to certain stables. People say the bookies always come out on top? Maybe with punters predictions but not with inside information. With all the companions I have met across many walks of life I am lucky enough to be in daily contact with many who are feeding me with info. Of course, there are ups and downs, but these tips are from the horse’s mouth, from acquaintances who know first-hand if a horse has true potential and how it has been performing. I could live without gambling I just choose not too and instead choose a life filled with good runs and a few bad runs but it’s all in the name of punting and with a little help from owners, jockeys , stable workers, I have a high return on investment and a high strike rate on winners. I have a great team who add up to beat the bookmakers.

Tell us about your brand?

What are your aims for this year?

We would like our followers to gain confidence in our service and become successful punters by following our reliable information. In all respects we are massively helping punters and spreading inside information free of charge, from doing this we are not benefiting ourselves, we are doing it for you. Once we have established our site and social media platform with punters we will then offer a more advanced way of receiving daily tips and will charge a small amount for the premium of daily tips. Waiting Patiently- from one of the North’s most powerful yards (Malcolm Jefferson) this exciting chaser is currently unbeaten over fences and could go under the radar this season.

How do you unwind from racing? 

4 kids, 2 dogs, 4 cats and play poker. I am also a property developer, finding bargains and renovating, it’s a gamble but always worth it in the end.  In addition, I enjoy 6 long weeks in Spain every year (can’t go this long without a bet though).
