It had that real home feeling to it – It is a really special triumph for me”.

When questioned how he thought Mig Des Taillons was travelling throughout the race, McMenamin responded; “I never had a moments unease. Mig Des Taillons jumped and jumped very well I always felt like I had all angles covered.

He is a lovely horse going forward which I feel Patrick and all his team at home will have plenty of fun with – they have my phone number if they want to send a few more like him over for me to ride” kidded McMenamin.
