Tell us about yourself?

Hi, my name is Jason, I’m the director of JLC Marketing Ltd, we run several successful sports betting sites and services.

How did you get interested in punting/racing?

It started at a young age, my grandad introduced me to the Grand National and let me pick a few horses, I was hooked ever since. I think I was about 7 or 8 when I watched my first race, I then started to look up some of the greats like ‘Red Rum’ and it went from there basically.

Tell us about your brand?

BetInfo24 has been an established horse racing service for over 15 years, we provide punters with free horse racing tips on a daily basis. We vigorously proof and monitor a number of tipsters over a minimum of 3 months, we then provide free tips each day from a variety of pro tipsters that have joined our network. It’s a win win situation for our members as they get to see just how good our ‘paid’ tipsters are, at no cost!

What sets you apart from your competitors?

I dare say there is not another online service like ours that has been operating for so long! not only have we established ourselves as a market leader, but we bring honesty and integrity to an industry that is fraud with scammers and dishonesty. We feel that our members can trust our decision and rely on our judgement when it comes to betting.

What packages/pricing do you offer?

The BetInfo24.co.uk service is a completely free horse racing service which is open to anybody. We then offer a number of paid tipsters which are fully proofed and verified, and all results are available to see on our site. The cost varies between £20 - £40 per month with heavy discounts on yearly subscriptions.

What are your ambitions for your brand?

Our ambitions as a brand is to become the number 1 resource in the UK for sports betting tipsters. We continually strive to grow and increase our membership base.

Favourite racetrack/ horse?

My favourite horse was probably Kauto Star, some great memories in the Gold cups watching him battle on. Although I love the Cheltenham festival every year, my favourite track is probably Chester. Living not too far away I have visited Chester races a lot. I don’t know what it is but I love the straight uphill finish after watching them come around the bend in the distance.

What are your views on responsible gambling?

I think you know when things are getting a little too much, as the saying goes, stop when the fun stops, and I think that’s a great line to remember. I have come across a lot of punters who become angry and disturbed over losing money. So, my advice is too only bet what you can afford to lose. This ensures you keep the fun in betting.

How do you deal with internet trolls?

I give them a piece of my mind, well I used too. I would get up tight and angry with them, I even had these ‘internet trolls’ offering me on at a fight, I’ve been threatened countless times. I then began to learn that this was just a part of the industry I was going to have to get used to and now I don’t let it bother me at all. Why waste time on worthless people like that. Now I just send them a polite email back thanking them for their comments, that usually see’s the end of them.

How do you unwind outside racing/punting?

I love to play golf and spend time with my family, I also like to travel and visit new places.

What life motto/quote do you live your life by?

Always have a clear conscious and something to look forward too, you only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough
